Russian agricultural producers are currently inclined to invest in the renovation and maintenance of previously purchased equipment, rather than to buy completely new or used equipment, this is demonstrated by the result of a survey that was implemented jointly by the portal Avito.ru and www.aa-p.ru). There is a clear trend towards an increase in the service life of agricultural machinery: farmers have begun to handle it more carefully, respectively, the need for new parts and high-quality maintenance is increasing. According to the Avito.Ru portal, in 2024, the demand for parts increased by an order of magnitude compared to last year, and the supply increased by almost 87%. The TOP cities with the highest increase in demand for components for agricultural machinery included settlements from regions with a developed agricultural sector.

Based on analytics selected from the Pole platform, there is an increase in farmers' interest in spare parts for agricultural machinery this year by an order of magnitude. Buyers now give priority to a convenient and, more importantly, fast method of ordering parts on electronic platforms. In this way, it is immediately clear who is the supplier of spare parts, and comprehensive assistance is provided, from the selection of components to the delivery of the purchase. At the same time, leasing of agricultural machinery is relevant, the demand for which is growing three to four times annually, especially taking into account state support.

Based on analytics obtained from the Avito portal, at the start of 2023, over 140000 offers for the sale of spare parts for agricultural machinery in the Russian Federation were presented on this site. Of this volume, about 110,000 applications concerned the sale of brand new spare parts. Extremely popular goods on a Russian scale in 2024 were platforms, bodies, booths, attachments, as well as parts of hydraulic systems. The manager of the thematic direction "Spare Parts" at the Avito.ru emphasizes that against the backdrop of the import substitution policy, the agricultural sector is showing rapid growth and is in constant need of high-quality machinery, specialists, equipment and components.

In earlier reports, Rosspetsmash noted a decrease in tractor production in the Russian Federation in 2024. According to statistics from the Ministry of Agriculture, domestic agricultural producers have reduced the level of orders for key types of agricultural machinery this year. Some believe that this trend will remain relevant in the future.
